- 1 large boneless veal chop or rib eye (400 g)
- 1 small onion
- 1 shot of espresso coffee
- 60 ml balsamic vinegar
- 1 spoon of mustard
- 2 spoons of olive oil
- 2 spoons of brown sugar
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Execute Recipe
- Clean and chop the onion and place it in a large bowl.
- Add the espresso coffee, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, olive oil, mustard and pepper.
- Mix very well to dissolve the sugar and to homogenize the ingredients of the marinade.
- Pour half of the marinade onto a plate and add the steak. Let it marinate for at least an hour, turning it often.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and grill it on a bbq or a hot grill pan for 8-10 minutes, for medium grilling. At the same time, brush it every 2 minutes with the original marinade that we have reserved.
- Tip: for the best result, remove the meat from the refrigerator 1 hour before cooking.
- Let the steak rest for 10 minutes to retain its juices.
- Then cut it into thin slices and enjoy!
