Ingredients for the turkey burgers
- 500 g ground turkey
- 2 carrots
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp soy
- 1 dry onion
- 1 egg
- 1 fresh chili pepper
- 1 tsp chopped coriander or parsley
- 2 cm fresh ginger
- Salt
- Pepper
Remaining materials
- Iceberg leaves or French salad
- Red cabbage
- 1 ripe tomato
- 1 lime
- Sweet chili sauce
Execute Recipe
- Clean the carrots and ginger and grate them separately with a fine grater.
- Chop the onion, parsley and chili pepper.
- Clean and mash the garlic cloves.
- Heat a small pan, add 1 tbsp of olive oil and saute the onion for a few minutes.
- Once the onion softens, add the ginger and garlic and stir for an additional 2 minutes.
- At the end, add the grated carrot and saute everything together for 3 minutes.
- Remove the vegetables from the pan and spread them on a plate to cool quickly.
- In a large bowl, mix the vegetables together with the ground turkey, soy, egg, chili, coriander, 1 tsp salt and some freshly ground pepper.
- Lightly knead the mixture for the turkey burgers and form 6-8 burgers.
- Bake the Asian turkey burgers in a non-stick pan at medium temperature for 15-18 minutes, turning them 1-2 times during this time.

- Cut the tomato into thin slices.
- Chop some red cabbage and sprinkle it with some lime juice.
- Place 1 sheet of iceberg on one surface and place 2 tomato slices, 1 turkey burger, some sweet chili sauce, shredded red cabbage and close with another sheet of iceberg.
