Spaghetti with Chicken Sausage and Broccoli

This is the easiest recipe for Chicken Sausage and Broccoli Pasta! I use village sausage made from delicious Pindos mountain chickens, gluten-free which stands out with its special and authentic taste. This Chicken and Broccoli Sausage Spaghetti is a very quick and delicious recipe, with distinct aromas that the whole family will love!

Recipe for Spaghetti with Chicken Sausage and Broccoli

Preparation time: 30 minutes
Portions: 4-6

Recipe ingredients

  • 500 g farfalle or other pasta
  • 250 gr Pindos village sausage made from fresh chicken
  • 200 g of broccoli
  • 1 medium dry onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 25 g of butter
  • 90 g grated parmesan
  • salt
  • pepper
  • zest of 1 lemon

Execute Recipe

  1. Heat plenty of water in a large pot.
  2. Once the water boils, add a little salt and add the pasta.
  3. Boil the pasta according to the manufacturer’s instructions on the package.
  4. Cut the broccoli into small pieces and add it to the pot with the spaghetti 4 minutes before the time required.
  5. At the same time, heat a large and deep non-stick pan on a medium to high temperature.
  6. Chop the onion and mash the garlic clove.
  7. Add the olive oil, butter, chopped onion and garlic to the hot pan and saute for 2 minutes.
  8. Cut the village Pindos chicken sausage into slices, add it to the pan and lightly season with salt and pepper.
  9. Brown the sausage for about 3 minutes on each side until it takes on color.
  10. Strain the pasta with the broccoli and reserve 150 ml of the boiling water.
  11. Pour the pasta with the broccoli into the pan with the sausages, add the parmesan, 150ml of water and mix well. If the pan is not very large, use a large pot instead of the pan and mix the spaghetti with the sausage and the rest of the ingredients there.
  12. Serve the Macaroni with Chicken Sausage and add some lemon zest and grated Parmesan on top. The lemon gives a freshness to this recipe and I highly recommend it!
