Preparation time: 20 minutes
Portions: 4
Recipe ingredients
- 500 g clams
- 400 g of spaghetti or spaghettini
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 chili pepper
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 25 g of butter
- parsley
- salt
- pepper
Execute Recipe
- Heat enough water in a large pot with salt to boil the spaghetti.
- Once the water is ready, boil the spaghetti for 1 minute less than the manufacturer’s instructions on the package.
- At the same time, chop the garlic, the parsley and cut the chili pepper into thin slices.
- Heat a large deep frying pan well and add the olive oil.
- Saute the garlic with the hot pepper for about 3 minutes and then add the clams, a little salt and pepper to the pan.
- Close the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes until the clams open. We throw away those that don’t open.
- Add chopped parsley and, with tongs, the spaghetti directly from the boiling pot and mix well.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the butter at the end to thicken the spaghetti sauce with clams.
- Serve the spaghetti with clams hot immediately with a chilled cold drink. We can serve them directly with the pan or serve them in individual portions.
