Recipe for Mille-feuille with Smoked Salmon
Recipe ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 200 g of smoked salmon
- 1 lemon
- 2 packets of mascarpone of 250 g
- some chives
Execute Recipe
- We start by preparing the mille-feuille leaves.
- On the oven tray, spread a piece of parchment paper and the puff pastry on top.
- Pierce well with a fork so that it does not puff up too much and cooks properly.
- Tip: for a better result, spread another piece of greaseproof paper on top and place a second pan.
- Bake at 200°C for 15 minutes, then remove the top pan and the parchment paper and bake for an additional 3 minutes, until the foil takes on a nice color.
- Remove the pan from the oven and cut it into 3 equal parts measuring approximately 12×15 cm.
- Place the cheese, the juice of half a lemon, some lemon zest, and chopped chives in a bowl. Mix well, taste, and proceed with setting up the mille-feuille salmon.
- Place 1 sheet of baked puff pastry on a plate.
- Spread 1/3 of the mascarpone cream on top and then add slices of smoked salmon, until we cover the surface of the foil.
- Repeat with another 2 layers and the mille-feuille with smoked salmon is almost ready.
- Place it in the fridge for 2 hours and before serving, cut with a large knife around the 4 sides to give it the perfect shape.
- We enjoy it the same day as the leaf is kept crisp.
