  1. We start with the preparation for the salmon burgers which are the heart of the Salmon Burger.
  2. Clean and chop the dry onion. Heat a non-stick pan and then add a little olive oil and the onion. Lightly saute at a medium temperature for a few minutes, until it softens and changes color a little, but without blackening. As soon as it is ready, remove it and pour it into a basin.
  3. In a multi we put the bread without the crust in small pieces and beat it well until we get small crumbs. Remove them and add them to the basin with the onion.
  4. Clean the salmon fillet from any bones and remove the skin. It needs attention because if there are any bones left, they will spoil the texture of our Salmon Burger.
  5. Cut a piece of the fillet, weighing about 150 g, and place it in a multi. We beat it well until we get a uniform mousse texture from the salmon.
  6. Cut the rest of the salmon into very small cubes of 0.5 cm.
  7. In the basin, add the salmon mousse together with the salmon cubes, ginger, melted garlic, coriander, lime juice, spring onion, and a little salt and pepper.
  8. Mix all the ingredients well with your hands or a spoon, cover the basin with film, and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  9. Remove the minced salmon from the fridge and form 6 small salmon burgers in the diameter of the buns. If we want, we can make 4 larger Salmon Burgers as long as we have procured large burger buns.
  10. Heat a non-stick pan or a grill pan well, add a little olive oil, and cook the salmon burgers for about 4 minutes on each side. If you want them well cooked, leave them for 2-3 more minutes on each side.
  11. Once cooked, remove them to a plate and proceed to assemble the Salmon Burger.
  12. Cut the buns in half and heat them a little in the pan in which we cooked the salmon burgers. For each salmon burger, place half of the bun on one surface and add in order a little tartar sauce, a salmon burger, some wild arugula, a little tartar sauce, and close with the other half of the bun. Repeat for the remaining Salmon Burgers.
  13. The Salmon Burgers are ready and we enjoy them hot!
