Recipe ingredients

  • 1 whole cauliflower
  • 1 dry white onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 100 ml cream
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 liter of water
  • Wooden skewers
  • 9 fresh shrimps
  • 1 lime
  • Salt
  • Pepper

 

Execute Recipe

  1. Clean the cauliflower, onion and garlic and cut them into thick pieces.
  2. In a large pot, add 2 tbsp of olive oil, the onion, the garlic, the curry and saute them for a few minutes.
  3. Put the cauliflower in the pot, along with the water, a little salt and pepper and cover with the lid.
  4. Boil the vegetables and cauliflower at medium temperature for about 30 minutes, until they are soft.
  5. At the same time, clean the shrimps and carefully remove their guts.
  6. In a bowl, add the cleaned shrimps, 1 tbsp olive oil, a little salt, pepper and mix lightly.
  7. Thread them two at a time on wooden skewers and roast them on a griddle for a while, so that they remain juicy.
  8. Once the cauliflower is soft, transfer it with a deep spoon to the blender, along with its juice.
  9. Beat for a while and add the cream.
  10. We continue to beat the cauliflower soup until we get a very smooth texture.
  11. Taste and correct if necessary with salt and pepper.
  12. Serve the cauliflower soup with the grilled shrimp and a slice of lime.
