Peach Custard Tart

Peaches are associated in my mind with summer. A delicious fruit, with acidity and a special aroma, which will give this tart something special! After several fruit tart variations, peach tart is my most summery choice!

Peach Tart Recipe

Preparation time: 80 minutes
Portions: 8

Recipe ingredients

  • 110 gr Vitamins without lactose
  • 220 g of all-purpose flour
  • 5 spoons of ice water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 spoons of sugar
Additional materials
  • 3-4 ripe peaches
  • 2 spoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of corn flour
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 1 egg (optional)

Execute Recipe

  1. We start with the dough because it will need to rest for a while in the refrigerator. In the bowl of the mixer, sift the flour, add the salt, sugar and mix lightly.
  2. Add frozen Vitamins without lactose cut into pieces and beat lightly.
  3. Then add the water and beat a little more.
  4. Use your hands to form a nice ball with the tart dough and wrap it in cling film.
  1. Put the tart dough in the fridge for 30-45 minutes, to cool and set.
  2. At the same time, clean the peaches and cut them into thin slices, 3-5 millimeters thick.
  3. We place them in a large bowl and mix them lightly with 1 spoon of sugar, the corn flour and the vanilla essence.
  4. Cover the bowl with cling film and store it in the fridge.
  1. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it out with a rolling pin to a thickness of half a centimeter.
  2. On top of the dough, place the peach slices in a circle, leaving 2 fingers of dough around the perimeter.
  1. Beat the egg in a bowl and, if necessary, dilute it with 1 teaspoon of water.
  2. Close the dough towards the center of the tart with the peaches, brush it with the egg and sprinkle a little sugar on top.
  1. Bake the peach tart in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 35-40 minutes, until it gets a nice color and is cooked underneath.
  2. Remove the tart from the oven and let it stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
  3. Enjoy the peach tart plain or with vanilla ice cream.
